The flasher in my 98 Firebird makes that classic 70's tink-tink-tink sound common of bi-metalic flashers. I think our cars are worthy of something a little more modern.
I see that there are replacement electronic flashers like the model EF-32.
Wondering if it makes a more "contemporary" flasher noise, and not the tin can click the OEM flasher makes.
This is $8 at AutoZone:

Plus these flashers can run LED lights with no problems.

I think it will work with regular lights too because it has a high amp rating. It works well with LED because its not a hot wire design, its a chip driving a relay.
A badass like me? I'm honored to be referred to in such a manner . Yeah I know
Anything to put obnoxious rice in their place is badass, just like you:mrgreen:.
I think the pulsing flasher would look outstanding. A nice slow pulse, fade on, fade off, would be cool. The compete opposite of hyper rice blinkers. Too bad the darn flashed is almost $60.
in factory setup, my directionals used to "ding" through my radio. When i swapped the radio, i had to install an included module to make the sound instead, works good, sounds fine. ('08 SKY)
