To my understanding it a direct port without drilling the intake while putting the nozzles on an injector ring...
Anyone have expeirance with this?

Have not read much good about them.

I actually havent read anything about them... seems like a good idea, on paper anyway...

I can try and find some links for you, but I think people had problems with them either blowing out or running to lean/rich.
To me, dumping ~1000psi of nitrous into a injector hole and relying on stock rails to hold that in seems like a bad idea.

By the time is leaves the nozzles, its not at a 1000psi. The Jets will knock down the pressure quite abit. To me it looks like a pretty good idea. A very simple direct port setup.

Nitro Dave says he doesnt like them... Not sure why though..
ill be doing a similar system but it isnt a composite intake in my case.
I have the NOS "NOSzels" which also mount under the injector.
I'll have more experience with it within the next year.
Im my application i have read of people having issues running a standard direct port setup(drilling and tapping) due to the shape/design on the intake and runners. By putting it under the injector for me, it gets it more directly into the cylinder.

i can't seem to find it at the moment but i did read about issues with that setup. one thing could be with a wide pattern fuel injector, it may catch the side of the manifold and "drip" some.
definitely try looking around and call a few nitrous guru's. it is pretty slick not having to drill your intake but i remember there was some issue with delivery or mixture.

Weren't you talking about running a Vic Jr. intake or similar anyways?
Direct port that shiznit.

I was going to do a Vic Jr and do a sheetmetal eblow with a carb style plate system... but saw this and thought a way to keep my bottom end and have a better system.
IMHO;
Nozzle < Plate on stock style intake < Carb style plate < Direct port

What is the big deal about drilling the manifold if you have to run a fogger? I am not a fan of the injector piggyback style either.

pending on the intake, a carb style plate can be very close to the distribution advantages of direct ports with less plumbing. IMO

This is why I was contemplating that idea as well.

Whats wrong with doing both?

go with a big plate sytem or drill & tap the manifold.
seen some done underneath manifold for "sneakyness"

Draws too much fuel from your rails. Depending on the size of the shot and your fuel pump will starve your injectors.

Not if you run an auxillary fuel system..

ill be going with a single plane plate kit and a stand alone so i can spray race gas. its safer that way and muuuuuuuch less expensive

Could you be a bit more specific? How are you hooking up an auxillary fuel system to this unit?

separate fuel rail should do it....

NOS Pro fogger. Very nice system.

You run a completely separate fuel system for just the nitrous.. Cell, pump and everything.

That nitrous system receives its fuel from the injector fuel rails. I know the system well and don't like it at all. When someone shows me an alternative way of supplying fuel for the nitrous, I'll reconsider.

I'd like to see what you've come up with. Any pictures? How are you hooking up to the rails.

Looks like I misread the post, thought the fogger was what was in question..

you could use that nozzle style and just make custom rails to go over the existing fuel rails. not sure if you run into slight clearance issues with the injectors being raised up, but with anything, there are ways to make it work!
