grinding with left turn - Dakota

a buddy of mine has a dakota pickup and he just started to hear a grinding/clicking noise in the front passenger side i took it for a spin and something grinds when i take a sharp left... any ideas on what it could be?

i would say hub. My buddies dakota did that and thats what he replaced and everything is fine now.
