If you take it face value, the scientists do not have the evidence to actually prove global climate change and have decided to "make" the numbers fit their original hypothesis. And in doing so, have decided to make all that disappear. Hence the hot water they will be in if this stuff is true. Lots of finger pointing and lots of smug republicans.

I'd like to see how these emails are spun to make them false or somehow not credible.
That's all I'll say out of respect for the rules of this board.

I've always felt that in the science world, climate change is still up to debate. There are many scientists/climatologists who feel that global warming trends are from natural causes. But seems to me the average american feels there is no debate. They just eat up the words of Al Gore especially when they see colorful charts showing disaster for the future. Thats what I see, anyway.
I believe there could be some slight truth to these emails, but either way it has people talking about climate change in a new light. More people are starting to question instead of just spewing crap out of their mouths. Would be nice to see some opposing opinions in the mainstream media so the average news-watching person can gather information from all sides and formulate opinions.

To those on the left there is no debate. Denying climate change is the equivalent to denying the Holocaust as they say. Questioning the validity of the "truth" threatens the entire fallacy they've created. It will ruin decades of work to gain power, control and money. Silence those that question your word and you'll keep the sheep inline.
I have no doubts we're contributing to the issue but to think we're solely responsible for the changes is no only inaccurate it's also arrogant. I still think there's a ton of debate on what we're contributing to the change. Remember back in the '70's when it was global cooling? We should have been in an ice age by now. Remember the first Earth Day back in '96? The scientists back then said by 2010 we'd be cannibals and fighting over a lack of food supply....hmmmm......
If you tear down the one common issue the world can unite on then you tear down the possibility of there being a one world government, currency and overall control. This whole climate change isn't about saving the planet, maybe on the surface it is but once you dig deeper this is almost all political. This is about power and control, nothing more, nothing less.

their theory has been proven wrong... by their numbers they say the earth will heat up 7 degrees in the next hundred years...(which is a significant amount to change wildlife habitats and vegetation and what not).... there is a guy in england who spent 20 years of his life gathering data on the subject that found in the current trends based on actual fact and not theory that the earth will heat up only 1 degree in the next hundred years which is insignificant and shouldn't change anything. Also i watched a guy explain that to counter act what al gore and all his followers say is going to happen that to lower that 7 degrees just one degree that for 33 years strait we can produce NO carbon emissions of any kind. NO CARS, factories, hospitals, etc.... just some info to sit on... again respecting the boards just touching in with some fact on the subject... its propaganda and nothing more...

You would also have to throw in there no humans or other mammals. Cellular respiration produces CO2. But no problem, Al Gore will just tell us to hold our breath for 33 years.

I don't think there is any denying that the Earth is experiencing change. I think the question for debate, is it really caused by our emissions. I believe it is, but I am just me.
