View Full Version : Be thankful...

A lot of times we get so caught up in hustle and bustle of life to truly realize what we should be thankful for.
The last 2 years have but absolute crap for me and a few others around me(I don't post much personal stuff online). You know what? I still have it better than a lot of people in this world.
We should all be thankful we have a roof over our heads, clothes on our back and food in our stomachs. We should be thankful we live in the greatest country in the world, to have the freedoms we have and to overall be safe from evil people.
We should be thankful we can all celebrate this day with friends or family. We should be thankful for said friends and family.
We should be thankful that we're alive and breathing. Don't forget and lose sight of everything we have. When things look dark, when the situation looks hopeless just remember that there's always someone out there that has it worse.
This message has been brought to you by the Frosty Broadcast System.
It was just something on my mind and felt a need to post it. Feel free to comment and call me a whiny bitch( ) or post up what you're thankful for.

I was going to keep it to myself, but since you gave permission ..... WAH!!!
I'm thankful for a lot of things myself. My job, my "better half" (according to Bonzo), & most of my family.

I am definitely thankful for a my family and health. We aren't meeting for thanksgiving this year as a family for the first time because my cousin is recovering from a bone marrow transplant and my grandmom is in the hospital recovering from a routine procedure.
I am also thankful for a roof over my head, and my job. My friends are also the best too..

I am very thankful that my wife and I are working, we have a great house, 2 great kids, and family that'll help us out if we need it. Have a great day, wherever you spend it, and whoever you spend it with! Eat, drink, and be merry - just remember to have a designated driver (my wife is today)!!

Sorry to hear about your situation...you don't always need family though. They're important but family isn't always blood, remember that. :)
