It looks like we might be shoveling some snow this weekend! I'm glad I took a half day yesterday to get one more round of golf in and mowed the yard last weekend for the last time hopefully. It looks like we could get 1-4" of snow Sat into Sat night.

I love the snow and am actually home for the weekend hoping it will snow cuz I bought a plow last year.... Im not holding my breath though... They are saying 1-3 inches for this area, my guess is going to be a coating and I came home from school for nothing :(

4wd definitely does help you drive in the snow. But it can't help you stop any faster. Stay safe in this weather if you driving out there.

but i can understand why you need some miles under your belt first. when i was your age i spun out on the Garden state parkway after going over some black ice in the fast lane and ended up in the break down lane facing the wrong way in need of a new pair of pants.

yeah today was my first time driving on snow and ice. yes i did have fun. i kept it sideways for a long time also did some doughnuts. i'm getting it down pretty good. but i did this on roads where no one was and empty parking lots.

Maybe I'm just over-sensitive to this since I drive a Jeep, but from what I usually see it's more like me having to get on the brakes every 30 seconds because there is some idiot in the passing lane on Rt. 1 doing 25 mph without their lights on. Ran into this 3 times on my 15 min. commute to work this afternoon..... :soapbox: :banghead:
