i found a hooker y pipe for long tubes for 185 new for super comp long tube headers. is this any good its for my 3rd gen formula?

What Y-pipe is it? I am pretty sure that Hooker doesn't make a y-pipe for 3rd gens with super comp long tubes.

nope it's for 98-02 LS1 cars running Super comp Lt's

Hooker only makes a y-pipe for the regular comp headers 2460-2HKR and that will set you back $250.

If you want to run Super Comps on a third gen make a custom 3 inch y-pipe and hook it up to a mufflex 4" cat back.....well at least that's what i did

Yea, that's what I thought too. I have the super comps and a Mufflex dual 3" into 4" y pipe for sale.....

Must be a mis-print....what is the Y-pipe part number that you are looking at?

HK16767 - Hooker Y-pipe for use with # HK24602 headers on 1982-92 Camaro and Firebird models.

HK24602 - Hooker Competition Header,shorty-style, 1982-1992 Camaro/Firebird: 265-400, Tube Size 1.6250" O.D., Collector Size 3" O.D., Collector Length 4", Port Shape: Same As Port, Stainess-Steel.

The y-pipe on the website is for their shorty Competition headers, not the super comp long tubes.
