View Full Version : End to my Cam only Season

Well the day started out pretty good. Tripped the beams at the line then said **** it and trapped 131 mph . Next pass out went 10.35 at 127mph :?: (previous best mph was 129.32). I may add the 60' was 1.341 :nod: I thought maybe it was running out of fuel up top. Threw a few gallons of fuel in it and the next pass out it went 10.40 at 124. Oil pressure at a hot idle was approximately 15 psi. I'm pretty sure I spun a main bearing. I have to give Atco credit, best 60' time ever in 36-38* weather just wish I got a picture/video of it. I really can't complain for a cam only car with probably close to 100 track passes and 3 sets of slicks lol Now i'm in a toss up on buying another stock 01-02 longblock or putting the nitrous 403 that's sitting in the garage in the car.. I can't make up my mind yet ...... What do you guys think???

throw in the 403. You will probably just end up breaking something in another stock longblock. Plus the 2k you would have spent on a new one would be nice for new goodies.

Just got a 01 longblock with 40k on it. Will run in march-april cam only then I will put the 403 in setup for spray :twisted: Don't think anyone will call out that setup.
