got new wheels

i had to get some tires for it so i figured i would go all out and i picked up some cheap priced wheels (that i think look like firehawk wheels) but anyway here is a before and a quick after shot. my camera sucks so ill get a better one tomorrow

the tires on the stock set are kinda not good in the rain let alone snow.

i dont care about them in the snow lol. i had to pick up new tires because the ones i had were dang near beat so i just bought a tire/wheel package. and yea i noticed the gap more after i put them on. its going to take some getting use to.

lowering springs are dirt cheap for this car lol. ill probably do that come spring time. along with a couple other little touches.

who ever mounted them didnt line them up. the yellow dot is put their to match up to the valve steam. sorry just noticed that. it works anywhere tho. looks nice. 2 picture makes them look better than first. first u really notice the space. now not so much. nice

not always true. theyre usually used for a guide for balancing. the yellow spot is usually the lightest part of the tire and typically gets mounted at the heaviest spot on the wheel. usually the valve stem. some wheels have different construction and if the technician mounted them noticing the wheel lopping on the balancer or an unnatural amount of weight wanted directly across from the point you can shift the tire on the wheel to drastically cut down on the amount of weight the balancer wants. different manufacturers have different colors too...some have yellow and white, some had red and yellow, some have all three, its just working with the wheels you get a feel for which goes where and how.

its the dd and i wanted to do something since it needed tires anyway. the camaro doesnt get driven much at all. plus im pretty much done with mods for the camaro.

not at all. nowhere close. the bolt patterns are also 5x100. :nod:

yeah thats what i meant last night. most gm fwd have 5x100 bolt pattern...iirc the fbody pattern is 5x120 or something like that
