If you can get the car down to 11.60's (which you have the mph for it) then a 100 shot should get you 10's no problem:nod:

downshift wont show up at the track. I've already tried running them. They've got nothing special. Most of you TMR guys are under the 12.0 bracket. Downshift is still trying to break into the 11s:shock:

Well your 60' is pretty good...so if you go auto I would assume that would only drop you into the 11.30 range...maybe a little quicker.....should be a good run if I can figure out how to launch...may need a small shot to beat ya though. The money part really depends on how much I spend on the car during the winter...I really need to start thinking about saving up for college **** so idk how much money is really left for the car. I may be up for some small change runs like $50 or $100, or even as low as just paying for each others entrance fees(if that's what you were thinking when you meant $$ runs). We've got a month and a half to figure it out. At least if it's you and me racing, there's no ******** and it should be a good runs and a good time getting beat up by the little lt1's.

now that's not a fair argument lol. Brandon can drive stick extremely well,his cam is like high 24X's/low 25x's, and extreme weight reduction. The car in question is full weight...even heavier than stock with the ironblock, and is being driven by a guy who has had minimal passes in the car(not picking on you erik)

ehh....tooo much work. The trap speed shows I should hit 11.50s once I can launch. Even if I have to..I'll start stripping the car down. Instead of throwing more money into the car I may go out and buy another DD so I can make the camaro a little less streetable and not care(weight reduction).

yea. Now that the motors in the car I don't feel like messing around with it, plus the whole exhaust is welded up now so it'd be annoying putting the heads on and fighting the headers. Not worth it for maybe 20hp and $600 in port work.

I race for money too, but I put a number on my window and earn my winnings. I am friends with the people I race with and enjoy talking to the other drivers. Rather than run my mouth and say cool things like "I only race for money" or "dont worry about it" Just so you know in the future, there is ALWAYS someone faster.

Im not taking it personal, its not my money. I understand street racers try to keep everything a secret, but it doesnt take a genius to estimate how fast your car is by watching you make a pass. At least you can humor yourself with thinking you have the fastest pump gas car around.

I just prefer to race a car that is comparable to mine as far as weight and traction is concerned. I wont run a race I dont think is fair.. I would rather not run if it is that lop sided. If you are looking to lock something in right now you are barking up the wrong tree. I havent even seen your car yet.. You know where I will be, bring your car if its a race we can do it. If not then you just wasted your time.

check the fuel at the rail? i have a carb not efi.....ill drain my tank(not a fuel cell either) at the gas station fill up on 92 or 93 and drive that car to the track! you dont have to pick the hood to check fuel....

Your right thats why NHRA checks fuel in the tank for all comp eliminator cars right? No one has ever had a false fuel tank before.. Like I said I wont go into a race blind. Not only is my car open for anyone to check out there are countless pictures and video of it on the track and street. If you are looking to play games then dont waste your time or mine.
