I have been holding off on signing the car away for almost two months, I relinquish the car and get 5000 plus the loan paid off. I am still kinda shaking up about the car it was my pride and joy and involved 95% of my life. As a present today my frined gave me a big frame(24x36 I think) with the cars picture and all and I literally wanted to cry. On the way home it finally sunk in shes gone. I miss it already, I know I should have bought Ricks car(my twin) but don't have the cash flow. Anyhow I made a little poem you may thing its gay or whatever but I simply don't care what you think. :punch:

Nothing more then a memory to some, but not me,
see I will never forget everytime I turned the ignition,
every time the gas pedal switched position.
Every time you would get loud and throw me in my seat,
Everytime I hit that little button that went tweet.
Speeding never felt so right,
Even when the steering got tight.
I shall never forget such a beast,
Certainly one of the faster street legals from the Northeast.
But I will never be able to forget such a thing,
As to all the fun you use to bring.
That is why to some you are nothing more then a memory,
but no not me.
2000 Formula WS6
Sometimes you put yourself in danger for fun,
Never expecting your life to be done.
There are certain scars we make,
They are life lessons we have to take.

Thanks for reading merry Christmas.

If you see ANY!! WS6 FORMULA for sale let me know.

dude, when you devote all your time and energy into a car it becomes more than just plastic and metal. when I got my 86 T/A it was is horrible shape. I spent a year and all of my extra cash making it nicer, faster, better. (F you and your rear brake comments) any REAL car guy knows that it becomes more of a child... I guess its different when you have no love for the car to begin with

I have to agree with Bubba....sometimes you hold a car close to your heart. I'm never having kids so my car and my cat(gay, I know lol) are my kids lol

lol ive been flipping cars since i was 18. buy one, fix it up a bit, sell it to someone to enjoy. i guess i never got attached to these machines. i look at a car and the first thing i think of is how much money i can make off it.

Always trying to make a buck eh Nasty?

I understand growing attached to a car, my car causes me all sorts of grief but I would never sell it.

I STILL have my 86 T/A as my background on my home computer... like frosty said about that ONE mistake, this car was mine. after that crash I really just can't devote myself to it, what ever I get its just not the same. I had the Buick, just wasn't a T/A, I have a T/A know, but its just not MY T/A... its not the same feel, the creaks and rattles and quirks are just not the same. I firmly believe every car has its own personality, a "soul" of sorts. I was at peace with the world when I drove that car. I had some awesome times...

Exactly why you wouldn't understand. In a lot of cases it's not the car itself but the memories you made with it and the happiness it brought you. And yes, family, health, etc come first. That should be a given, but that isn't always the case.

I have loved almost all my cars. I think about them from time to time the good times I had and what I learned from each. However I dont think I could cry over a car or write a poem about it. I guess im in the middle...

Sometime you can't replace cars. Not only will I most likely not find another formula ws6, even if I do it wouldn't be my first real "car". clearly you don't understand which just makes you ignorant to certain things, I said it in the OP I don't care what you's have to think I wrote it I posted it I always stand behind my words.

Papa John paid $250,000 for his car. He sold it to help finance the start of his pizza chain.

Who cares he said wiether he wanted to offend me or not I don't care. He doesn't affect me. If I could I would love to be able to buy the car back and rebuild it(yes its worth that much to me) even destroyed a few parts are still worth keeping.

Thanks for the support guys!!

I do agree with the fact that when the time comes, my kid(s) (whatever it may be) will be first and foremost...but...since you have not touched every nut and bolt on your car, since you obviously never poured heart and soul into getting a car finished, you have no say in the matter. I poured alot of hours into my car, worked ALOT of hours working to support the car, I restored my car almost completely...and NO...to me...it is definitely NOT a "piece of paper saying its worth x amount of dollars" I have owned that car since I was 13...I have parts on that car that were off of my grandfathers 65 Chevelle, parts that he gave me before he passed away. My dad and I worked on that car, friends have spend endless nights working on that car with me to get it to a show, or an event...Could I find another 64 SS Convertible? Possibly. Would it be MY car? no.

I guess peoples views on vehicles are different, I know many people who pour more heart into one car than you will pour into all the cars you own in your lifetime...your priorities are different, so to bash this guy for lamenting on a vehicle he cared for deeply...you are a douche.

and when it comes down to it, youll realize that there are more important things than a car.

ive poured countless hours over the years putting money into cars and getting them ready for whatever it be....a car show, or just getting done finishing fixing your car and cruising down el camino royale to the local starbucks car meet 8-)

are there a few cars i wish i could have back??? sure there are....am i gonna shed a tear over a car? not likely....am i ever gonna write a poem for a car? nope.
