Yeah, just another sad story about how Pontiac finally got it right and then shoots itself in the foot. Same could be said about the Fiero towards the end when they solved all the problems but couldn't save the car. The G8 was fantastic to begin with, and the GXP was just icing on the cake!

putting an exclamation point in the middle of your sentence doesn't help your case.

There was supposed to be an American version, headed up by Adam Corolla, one of the guys from HGTV, and someone else...cant remember his name.
I belive ABC was looking into it, but didnt work out. I think with the failed Jay Leno show, they should move this into the 10pm slot with Leno, Corolla, and Ryan Secrest or something...

If Topgear American didnt involve Jay Leno I would be unhappy. Hes a true car enthusiast all the way round.

Barry Meguire, Jay Leno, David Spade, there's the best Top Gear America lineup.

David Spade? Really?

yes, david spade is actually an avid car buff, his favorite cars are mopars. Watch some of his movies, Tommy Boy, and Joe Dirt, the main cars in the movies are mopars. Adam Corolla is not as much of a car buff as we are to believe. Form watching him to test drives, and just hearing his conversations about cars, he knows some, but he doesn't know enough to be on a show like Top Gear America.

Ive met Jerry at Monteray, he's a douche. He's a big Porsche fan, has a wonderful collection ( owns the first porsche ever built) but do you think you could really stand listening to his whiney voice every episode.

He's too much. Leno would capture the funny car guy. We would need someone more serious, and a generic guy that likes cars. The latter has Ryan Seacrest writen all over it.
