And the course was dry and the frozen ground had thawed out enough so the top inch wasn't frozen. But my putter is still taking winter break apparently. I missed 7 putts of 4-5 feet for either birdie or par. I still managed to shoot an 84 so I can't complain! With the rain coming tomorrow, I probably won't be playing golf any time soon.

went out last week, was below freezing, it was miserable conditions to play in so i ripped up the score card and treated it like the driving range...

might go to mccullaghs in egg harbor on tuesday, 30 bucks greens fees and cart, as many holes as you want to play all day... thats unbeatable right there

Wow, that's not bad at all. Mountain View is $13 for twilight on week days and $16 twilight weekends. I think twilight might start around 1 - 1:30 this time of the year. I had to renew my county card for $30 for the season, but it was $16 to play. I walked 18 holes and it took a little over 3 hours, I joined a couple of guys in front of me and we still caught some slower people. Hopefully this rain will wash away some of the goose crap as well!

And today was a nice enough day for the 2nd round of the year! I started off better but still missed a bunch of short putts and had several double sand shots from wet traps. Managed an 84 again and there was no roll today with the wetter conditions. I actually hit 6 greens in regulation on the front nine and managed to 3 putt 3 of them. But it was nice to get out twice in one weekend in January so no complaint here.
