hey guys. as some of you may know some guy on tech bought an lq9 intake off me. but it was broken when he got it. i told him i would send the payment back but i didnt want a broken intake manifold. well he shipped it back to me in a box that i could fit like 4 intakes in. just got a letter from ups today saying i owe $110 for shipping charges.

i spoke with the person in charge of the letter and they said to get them some info so i figured someone might have this info handy before i have to go outside after i just got out of the shower.

if anyone has an lsx intake sitting in the house could you give me a quick measurement Length width and height. i need to give them a ball park range on size. i know the lq9 is a little taller so ill add to the measurements that you give me.
(box he sent it back in was 31x31x26 filled with 2 40 gallon trash bags worth of packing peanuts! wtf!)
thanks guys.

thats what he did to me, but stuck it in a huge box so now im stuck with the bill lol. ive already talked to ups and told them i refuse to pay the bill because i told the buyer i didnt want it back if it was broken nor did i want it back in a huge box that i have to pay shipping on.

theres a $45 large box charge along with a $10 gas charge. gotta love how **** works lol

I have a brand new intake setup still in shipping box (& obviously it has plenty room for peanuts & crap) measurements are 16"x10"x27.5"

thats boxed up ready to slap a tag on it size.

lol he pwned you

you can always tell him to pay the bill or your gonna leave him bad feedback on tech. a lot of people buy and sell things and dont want the bad feedback on their record. you should pursue that route. you might just end up having to eat this bill.

I don't get this. "i told him i would send the payment back but I didn't want a broken intake manifold. " So you refunded his money and he sent it anyway? And you can't just write return to sender on it? I don't understand this. How are you on the hook for something he sent?

i think he told them that he bought this part, it was broken and that the shipper will cover the cost. :?:

It probably went back to him as a return, and since he's the original shipper he's getting the shipping charges
