I don't want to get into specifics as nothing's happened *YET* but I have a great feeling I'm about to get shafted by a big company. This has to do with support / warranty.
Short of the BBB, who else is there to complain to regarding the company? Isn't there also someone to contact regarding the state they reside in? Or is that the state the consumer is in? I'm confused.

Complain on here, action will be taken. :D
Kidding.
If it's really that big you can always go to the State Attorney General and seek help that way/

Start with phone calls & document all the conversations. Keep getting the next guy's boss on the phone until you get some one who wants you to go away.
Did you pay with a credit card?

I paid with a CC but I purchased from an authorized dealer, my transaction with the dealer isn't the issue it's with the manufacturer.

if the authorized dealer is not helping I'd still stop payment.

In that case i would start with Bonzo's advice. If you are persistant enough someone will eventually want you to go away and will most likely meet your demands. If that doesnt happen then you may need to take legal action

If I do small claims, they can't come at ME for "legal fees" if I lose, can they?

How much do you feel your goign to be "shafted" for? If it's less then worth their time, they just might settle and end it there once you throw the small claims at them.
