Found this on another forum:

To all active duty military personnel (stationed here or overseas), Scion (a division of Toyota) is offering a small care package to all soldiers. It's 1 per person, but has some good stuff in there that might come in handy for you, such as chap stick, hats, cards, and calling cards. To register, go to www.scion.com/military (http://www.scion.com/military) and click on "Order Your Scion Care Package" on the right hand side of the page. It's completely free!!

Just so you know, the drawback is that you'll probably get some promotional mail since you have to give your address :)

Wow, cause buying a scion is really patriotic and 1k is not really that big of a rebate, a good negotiator would get more than that outta one of those dealers

Last time I checked 1000 was better than 0.

Also Toyota seems to be offering more than Ford and Chrysler does, who offer 500. And I can't even find anything about GM.... but I know they used to offer 500, although it seems like they don't anymore.

They probably can't afford to, but I agree, 1000 is a big chunk of money. That's more than 5% for some of their cars

Scion has a no-haggle price structure. Its designed to be easier for younger people to buy and not get caught up in the price game.
