I think it's really cool. Hard to believe you could get a tripower 409/350... back in 1961.

409s are bad ass. and very cool looking. the new edelbrock heads for them seem to be getting good reviews.

Really? Besides for intake manifolds they cant make crap. Even there they still suck.

Nice! I read about these a few months ago. Pretty cool how they did it. I think they worked with someone that had a lot of experience building them in the past? IIRC the heads had a shim under them for development and was a little strange looking in the article. :shock:

It is just a optical illusion, it is basically just a BBC with the deck cut on an angle. There is more to the block design but thats what it started life as originally. The heads and pistons look like freaks of nature too
