I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did after the blood clot...I guess that's what happens when don't take care of yourself.

I havent watched the show in a while, whatever happened to his son? Is he still fishing? And did he eventually take over his dad's boat?

Both of his sons are still on the boat. Last year when Phil was off the boat with the blood clot issue, he had Murray captain the boat for him. I'm interested to see who will captain the boat this year,

Don't feel bad, I just learned about this yesterday too. I have to say I do feel bad though, I am a fan of the show.

I havent watched the show in a while, whatever happened to his son? Is he still fishing? And did he eventually take over his dad's boat?
His son Jake, which is the younger one right?.. anyways he just got busted for a DUI, so i dunno how that will effect his position on the boat.

Yea, Jake is the younger one, and he has been fishing with his dad longer. And yes, from what I read it was DUI + hit and run.
