...Not in the Camaro though. I don't think it would of survived Maine's roads. The states I visited were Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.

These next three were taken in Newport, RI.

Thought I parked close to the edge, but the pictures shows that I really wasn't. Over that little drop off is the oceans edge, but it was at low tide.

Backwoods of Maine. Traveled over 100 miles until we finally hit paved roads. Thought we were lost, lol.

Just Killington for snowboarding. We were suppose to go to Mount Washington but they had 80-100mph sustained winds with snow. So they canceled because the drivers couldn't see the road.

Did you go to the inlet in Maine where you can watch the tide come in really quick? I forget the name of it. And did you see Stephen King's house in Portland? It's pretty awesome looking, and the locals told me when I was there that he invites the local kids to his house on Halloween and reads them ghost stories in his living room

It was some sight from the bottom of the mountain and the top. 4,241 feet above sea level. We could see for miles. And the trails were amazing. Took me about 30 minutes from the time that chair lift hit my ass until I got back in that line to go up the mountain again. So nuts!

Great pictures! Maine is beautiful...I spent most of my summers in Rumford, growing up. I plan on going back and living there eventually.

How long did the entire trip take you? I'm thinking of taking a hiking/road trip to hit all the states in New England in the Fall. Would love to get some info about your trip.

Kyle- Yeah, we went in New Hampshire just north of North Conway.

qwikz28- It took us 7 days for the whole thing. We left Saturday morning and stopped in Mystic, CT. After there we spent the night in Boston, MA. Walked around Boston in the AM then left to go to Salem, MA then headed for North Conway, NH. Spent the night there and went snowmobiling the next day. After that we then left for Greenville, ME. Stayed there then the next day we spent the whole day driving around Moosehead Lake. Almost got lost on some logging roads, hahaha. After getting out of the backwoods of Maine we headed for the coast. Spent the night in Stonington, ME. Our view of the ocean from our room was amazing. I do suggest going to Stonington, ME and staying at the at The Inn on the Harbor. The next day we spent driving around looking at lighthouses and heading to Portland, ME. Once in Portland we did some more lighthouse searching, saw the lighthouse in Forest Gump, and then headed to Killington, VT. Stayed the night there and went snowboarding the next day. Then headed home.

Thanks! Did you get to catch any seafood out there? I appreciate the lodging suggestions. I am going to write them down after I post this.

My plan is to hit every state while I'm on the road. I've already gotten MA. CT and NY obviously. I would like to spend a day or two hiking Mount Washington, but I imagine the guys I'd bring with me wouldn't be up to a 14 mile day hike. Maybe a small 3 or 4 hour hike and then take the cable car or drive up to the top for pictures. The main purpose of my trip is to view the foliage and see some of the sights. Still a bit early, but expect a PM tapping into your brain late in the summer!

Thanks again! The pictures are inspiring!

We didn't literally catch some seafood, lol, but before we left for Stonington, ME the lady at the front desk of the place we stayed at, at Moosehead Lake, told us that Lobster was out of season and we should call first to see if we could get some. So we did and the restaurant that we ate at was the only place open on the island at night. The waitress' boy friend actually went out and brought us in 2 Lobsters.

If you want to hike Mt Washington, I'd plan on being there a few days. There are A LOT of trails there. I was looking at one of the maps while we were in their lodge and that's all there was, was hiking trails.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions you have. If you want I can give you a list of where we stayed and my opinions of them.

Appreciate it, but I don't wish to heckle you with that now, only to have to lose and it bother you again later. I'll run my itinerary by you this fall when I do go. Thanks again man.

Very nice scenery with those out of the way places. Not too many car hop cruises in those areas. That is some tanker in one of those shots. It would be a REALLY FUN TRIP with an FBody....NOT!
