i've seen a few different car cruises on the parkway over the years and always thought it'd be fun to drive with a bunch of Fbodies lol, any just for fun? there was one i saw but it was $30 a car and with a 5.7L and tolls i dont feel like spending any more money that i need too lol

i really wanna do one too.. but im always working... i say we get one goin on a saturday... maybe we can start our own? im sure i can get a couple people to go (non members)

You can make any trip into a cruise. The April meet is a nice ride from you and I'm sure some guys from your area will go.

aactually i would be able to go to the meet cause its on a sat.. hmm just gotta get some people to cruise with...

but i want a HUGE cruise.. like STRAIGHT F BODIES.. like ever see when the VWs have waterfest... what an awesome community.. they flood the streets..

yeah i want to only be able 2 see fbodies! lol and saturdays are typically no good for me until summer gets into full swing, i work the boardwalk and we're only open weekends till summer =/

we tried to get something going last year...similar to the corvette toys for tots run with the state police blocking off the AC expressway for us and giving us a nice empty road to run on (corvette guys have gotten up to 200 mph in their vids) without any police intervention....but no one wanted to cough up the amount that the corvette guys usually do. they usually pledge about 100 per car to get it done, with the proceeds going towards a charity. everyone uproared over the money and it never happened. if anyones changed their mind and would like to get the ball rolling again i have no problem getting in touch with the contacts again, but no Charity = no State Police blockoff. you can try to organize one for free, but having 100+ fbodies on the road in traffic will be horrendous :lol:
