Got the poly bushing from Summit Racing the other day, so now I can install the front sway bar. Ordered just the bushing, not the entire housing. While its apart, I want to add zerk fittings to each bushing assembly so they can be greased. Thinking of drilling a 1/8" hole through the poly bushing. Think its too big? Maybe 3/32?

I know it's not a big deal, just asking.

I think 1/8 is probably fine.

i have an end link for a late model ram 1500 sitting on the bench and the pre drilled but not tapped hole seems to take a 7/32" bit. hope that helps

the small zerk fittings are 1/8 npt, so you need to drill the proper hole, which is not 1/8", for somereason i think its "R" but i have to check. Just make sure the threaded part of the zerk does not come in contact with the sway bar

Checked, it is an "R" bit size

Thanks for the specs, guys. It helps me a lot. I think the zerks I have are 1/8 npt, but will have to double check.

It's a q bit. I just did a 1/8 barb fitting the other day. Use a q bit and npt tap

im sure Q will work, its only a tiny bit smaller, but its defiantly supposed to be R

and i have the R bit and 1/8npt tap, just used them the other day

I don't have letter bits, just number. Had to look up the letter sizes to convert to number. But I do have the taps, so it worked out just fine.
