View Full Version : wierd idea
so i was thinking that i want to be able to have a more efficient air conditioning system in my car, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas to provide better cooling to my ac condenser

interesting that you bring that up, i wonder if someone can fab a solar panel to fit in the place of an oem t-top?

Solar panel to power this big oil pump and then a big ass cooler for your coolage!!!

And lets not forget the filtration for all this oil coolage!!!

ok, i can see that system working, but adding all those electric motors will create a hotter environment, which would require more cooling, so it would negate any benefits

Well since I hear you have a mices problem, WHY NOT use some of these wired to fans!

Its like a win win win!
THAT would work, but then i would also need to add a dual filter litter box

maybe a cooler tubed into the sway bar so you can navigate exit ramps at break neck speeds WITHOUT disturbing your mice!!!!!
hmm, do you have any other pictures of that one?

Can't seem to find any pics, seems as if no one has caught on teh greatness of sway bar cooling.
But really all you need is shiny!!!

if youre worried about heat you should go with a lower gear ratio, i hear the steeper the gears the more heat you get

i dont see how that would assist with cabin air temps

Buy like a giant tractor trailer ac condenser and plumb it into a giant intercooler from like a cruise ship and run the output of that into a tank of dry ice then the output of that to like a vent under your seat.
hmm dry ice....interesting

Wrap everything in fiberglass to keep the engine heat away from your cooling system

Something wrong with it or do you just want to increase efficiency?
Are the cooling fins on the condenser clean and straight? If you have a lot of bent fins or debris buildup that could affect the performance. Also too much oil in the system will cause cooling issues with the A/C.
Do you use the fresh air or recirculate setting? On hot humid days you will notice a big difference in duct temp if you use the recirculate mode. Instead of pulling all of the hot humid air from outside it will be pulling cool dry air that is already inside the car.

Run twin compressors. If it works for turbos for my boost it'll work for ac compressors
But in all seriousness you could try spacing the condenser away from the radiator and perhaps add a push fan. The only place that wrapping pipes will benefit is on the cool side lines. I'm terrible with ac so I couldnt tell you if thats hi or low but I believe it is low.
