JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- A central Missouri convenience store clerk with $28.96 in his bank account and a stack of utility bills to pay came forward Thursday as the winner of a $258 million Powerball jackpot.
Chris Shaw, 29, said he plans to use the winnings to pay off the $1,000 he owes a friend for a truck he recently bought, catch up on his utility bills, see a dentist about getting his two missing front teeth replaced, and take his three children and his girlfriend's two children to Walt Disney World in Florida.

All I know is I'd know what to do with that money. And we'd have one wicked playhouse.

I'd buy property while the market is down so I could have something to hand down to children. Thats if the country holds on.
My most expensive item would probably be a bomb shelter equipped with plenty of doomsday necessities.
There would be plenty of cars. I doubtfully would ever work again and I'd do LOADS of traveling. Dive a different coast every week.

I'd take 10 million and blow it. Rest goes into a protected fund. To protect myself from myself and the money from other douches.

With my LUCK, I could what IF myself to death. I am THRILLED when I win $2.00 on a $5.00 rub-off ticket. It just means I LOST less.

Yeah Bill, I think thats the best approach.
Id take 10 million for FU money, then buy some property here and there and rebuild it.
The other 220+ million Id just have invested into several different spots....

Exactly what I would do. Buy a plane, boatload of cars, some nice houses, maybe a pirate ship, then the rest into CDs, gold, silver, mutual funds, IRAs, etc.

I'd build myself an underground theme park that doubles as a bunker when then end of the world comes in two years. I'll ride my ferris wheel into extinction.
