So from the time I got home from work Tues night (8pm) and the time I got back in the car 8:15am Wed AM my battery in the trans-am went dead!!! (shortest period its ever died on me) As some may know--she has a long history of an unknown dead battery.
Well Finally tonight we decided to test everything. When the car was off it was reading at .205 once the fuse for the radio/accessories was pull it droped down to .035. apparently the stock amp for the stock radio is bad and is causing a drain. Glad I found out what the major drawl was. Now I have to get a new stock amp. :)

actually its pretty easy to hunt them down. dvom between the negative cable and the battery negative post and pull fuses. once you find the circuit you can refer to a wiring diagram and figure out what accessory is causing the draw on power. its not a pita....just tedious

Tedious can be a pita. Some are harder to find then others. With s digital volt meter it can be pinned down pretty fast. Buy wiring diagrams aren't always fun to read
