Thinking about getting something more logical for my use if the numbers work out well. I have my own buisness and it would really make more sense for me to spend my money on a dump truck and/or something with a diesel instead of this Silverado. I would consider trades for a diesel truck or a dump truck.
This is an 06 5.3L 1500 Z71 ex. cab 6 ft bed that I've owned for about a year. I bought it Certified Pre Owned in Feb 08 at Lucas Chevrolet. has a bedliner, pw, pdl, keyless entry, Locking rear differential, flowmaster exhaust with side exit pipe, cloth interior, bench seat in front with center storage compartment, and steering wheel radio controls. 71,XXX miles. Has a GM drive train warranty until 100K miles. I was having an "issue" with it burning oil, however Gm and the dealer are telling me it's normal for this truck to burn oil and there is nothing to fix or worry about. The exterior has small dent behind the passenger side quarter panel from me being an amateur trailer backer upper. Other than that, the truck is clean inside and out. Oil changed every 3k miles on the dot, recently had differential and transmission fluid changed. Just has brake work on the rear brakes as well. I'm asking for the KBB value, which is $15,495 for "good" condition. I would really Like to trade straight up for something diesel, or a dump truck.
