Well I went to turn on my 360 today that I never play and I got 1 red ring of death...so needless to say I need to get a a different system...the GF wants to get a Wii because of the workout crap but im not feeling it because imo there games are kinda kiddy and the graphics ive seen so far stink...Blueray on the ps3 isnt a selling point for me but some of the game titles are, will i have any fun w/ a wii ? I like sport/race/skateboarding games, thats about it.

Wii is a ton of fun with some friends and some beers. Its simple enough to play some of the games for the casual gamer. For example last summer we had the Wii set up out in the garage with a tv mounted on the wall. We would play bowling or one of the other wii sports games for endless hours. Just something to pass the time with.

Of course they also have other games geared more for mature gamers like Resident Evil, etc.

Wii can be a ton of fun, I enjoyed playing the most simplest things on it such as bowling and archery... Just get some people, and it's a go.

My sister has a Wii, it's definitely more fun playing with a group than by yourself.

If you are considering a Wii for the "fun factor" of being active while playing but want better graphics/games, the PS3 is coming out with an expansion for the system called Move: http://us.playstation.com/ps3/playstation-move/

yea the E68 error code is hard drive related and seems to be an easy fix...like taking the hard drive off and tapping on the table and putting it back on lol...so it looks like ill be keeping the xbox.

Same thing happened to my old 360 Elite, i fixed it but it would act up again after about 10-12 hours of use and would not stop doing it. Ended up getting a new 360 altogether. Hopefully yours doesnt act like mine did
