hey guys, i just ordered a short stick from www.ws6store.com basically shortens the height from 8 5/8" to 6" so it shortens the throw from gear to gear...does anyone have one? likes/dislikes?
i have the Lou's Short Stick. i love it. I even had the Hurst short throw shifter stock to begin with so it made it even better.

This is the setup I plan on doing in my T/A. Good to see someone else is happy with it.

I was worried about smootheness of the shifts along with the required leverage to shift. If people say all of that is better than stock then i will definitely be going through with it.

leverage is never a problem, or else they wouldnt make it like that... and the pro 5.0 has some notch like attributes but i mean that in a good way, its like the perfect amount i wouldnt ever bother you, but it will still make u feel certain of ur shifting...

I had the pro 5.0 with the shift stick it came with and i cut it down one inch and it made it perfect. you can feel every gear engage and the shifts are nice and firm. definitely a great shifter. i had the ws6 store shift stick at first but it put the knob in an awkward place so i switched to the pro 5.0

Let me know if you decide to go with the Lou's short stick. I have one w/ a hurst 6spd ball I will not be using.

i would just use the stock pro 5.0 stick and cut the threads down an inch or so, it sits in the perfect spot because its angled just right.
