...at approx. 55mph, my speedometer is reading about 65 mph...as of right now, the speedo gear is stock in my 93 camaro w/ 4L60......

am I going more teeth? less teeth? or if there is a particular number of teeth I should try first....?

went from 2:73 to 3:73 rear end gearing.......stock 16" rims to 275/40/18 if that matters

so I found a computation sheet - looks like i need to know how many teeth are on my drive gear which should be 17 and my rear tire diameter...the only thing i cant find is my rev/mile .... anyone know that?

thanks

Looks like you need the following for 3:73s

GM Part# 25513052 - Is for the 44 tooth driven gear
GM Part# 8642620 - Is for the 15 tooth drive gear

Link below has good info:

right now i should have a 37 teeth on the driven gear and 17 teeth on the drive gear....so if i need to SLOW DOWN my speedometer does that mean I should go with MORE or LESS teeth on the driven gear?....supposedly I should aim for a 39 or 40 tooth driven gear.....
