Anyone else noticing this?.. Whenever at a gas station i rarely if ever see 91 sold, sunoco seems like they are the only station that may carry it

I think what he's saying is he doesn't want to pay for 93, he wants to pay for 91

I could be wrong, but if you ask for Sunoco Premium you'll get 92 octane. You have to ask for Ultra which is 93 octane. Sunoco stopped making 94 octane about 5 years ago.

negative, 93 only in teh 3800 k thx... just noticing that fewer and fewer places are selling it these days, and the prices are odd... today i noticed
2.75 for 87
2.95 for 89
and 3.05 for 93... very odd

edit: i havent seen 94 probably since ive owned the TA

I will try to call SUNOCO customer service tomorrow at 1-800-786-6261 and see if there is ANY station that sells ULTRA 94. I would like to use it and bring up my timing just a little more.

I doubt 1 octane point is going to make any bit of difference.

I was told the sunoco in Bellmawr right off rt 42 sold 94. I haven't checked yet, but I will on my way to work one of these days.

Yea..now that you mention it.. I havent seen 91 or 94 in a while.

Around here all I have seen in recent times is 87, 89, and 93.

Yeah, Wawa sells 92 octane. I kind of thought it was a bit of a lie when you look at pricing at Wawa vs Hess or another gas company.

Yea they charge the same price for 92 as most other places charge for 93. I'd rather have the 1 point higher octane

Just got off the phone with SUNOCO customer service and asked about ULTRA 94. I was told that it has NOT been produced for at least the last several years and there are no plans to reintroduce it the near future. There is a station in Pt. Pleasant that sells SUNOCO unleaded Race fuel, but it seems to be the only one in the state.

I believe the racetracks sell Sunoco race unleaded, and there's an independent station a half mile from me that sells Sunoco GT100. If you ask Sunoco or use their finder it will tell you only which Sunoco stations sell it.

I was aware that places like Raceway Park sell it, but just where is this station? It sounds like it is not too far from Piscataway. When you get a chance could you get the address and also how much do they sell it for?

Sure! Santelli Brothers Automotive on Old York Rd. in Bridgewater/Raritan. It's the only gas station on that section of Old York. I pass it every day- I think the price is still $8.99 a gallon.

Thanks for the info. I also got a number from SUNOCO that gives all their Race Fuel stations. It is 570-924-4323. Now lets see, if I fill up @ $8.99 a gal. it will ONLY cost me $135.00 for 15 gal. Not to shabby:omg: but on second thought I'll just get a pint and stretch it out. :j/k:

yes it has not been produced....doesnt mean they didnt keep it going until stock was gone, which would explain why some have bought it recently but cant anymore
