I work for a company called Galaxy Systems Inc. located in Somerset, NJ. We are a company that specializes in IT staffing and consulting. We hire for positions such as Java Developers, Web Developers, Software Engineers, and Project Managers, and other relevant industry positions. We are currently hiring for an internal recruiting position with our company.
Title: Recruiting Coordinator
Overview:
We are looking for candidates either still in college or who have recently graduated that are looking for a career in IT recruiting and interested in learning about our company. This position works with our team of technical recruiters and provides support in sourcing resumes and data entry into our ATS.
Duties include:
o Sourcing resumes
o iCIMS – data entry, applicant flows, etc
o Coordinating technical screening process – Brainbench exams, candidate interviews, etc
o Ensure qualified candidates are submitted to ALL applicable requirements
o Monitor vendor portals
o Work on ad hoc projects
Basic Qualifications:
-Prior work experience in a relatable role or job field
-Some knowledge of recruiting concepts
-Pursuing a bachelor's degree with some coursework completed or recent college graduate in relevant field or industry
-Strong knowledge & experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous recruiting experience
-Knowledge of iCIMS or any other applicant tracking software
