barney mobile and dandrea have been callin short fuse out hard core lately. between broken driveshafts, shock adjustments and missed shifts he's been havin a rough couple weeks. should he hang up the 6spd game? according to dandrea86 he should. i say hang in there kid! give em hell!!

did he ever change out that damn twisted transmission. his RPMs are too high on his launch and its twisting the transmission so it wont go into gear, thats why he misses shifts ;)

but just because i like to stir the pot, i think he should switch to an auto so that car can finally make a clean pass.... with him driving ;)

Is he missing shifts because of the trans or maybe the clutch. pretty common for the T56 to bend the shifter forks resulting in missed 2~3 shifts. Also in one reply there is mention of shifting too high? What clutch is being used?

And keep the manual!

others have made clean passes in the car and so has he. i posted that as a joke because last year we were all at the track and some guy told us that he was missing shifts because he was launching too high and his transmission was twisting... physically twisting.

OK, reason is buddy of mine runs his LT1 ( well the block is an LT1, nothing else is LT1 anymore ) to near 8,000 and his street twin wouldn't release properly at those RPMs, McLeod built him a clutch out of some other material. after stil having issues he went to a GForce clutchless. Nice setup, but major $$$$$
