Very nice truck. Just an fyi, those 4.7 engines are very common to have problems. Make sure you keep up on it and it should be just fine. I had one in my durango that blew on me, much like many others

I've only heard of sludge problems in those. Me and my friend have one in our 2000 durango with 212k hard miles, we beat this thing senseless, and havnt had a problem yet (other than the 10mpg). Maybe I'm just lucky, hopefully you are too.

Same here....usually on hear good things about 'em. Certainly not as beastly reliable as the 4.0 I6s, but the 4.7s are generally regarded as quality motors.

My wife's '04 GC has one with 90k on it, and we haven't had a single problem with it yet.
