What is safe to you to clean the exterior of the intake? Something that won't attack it or leave a residue etc?

It's systematic. It's hydromatic.


That stuff works good on greasy messes.

Water here. Wash it off w/ the engine cold, then crank it up and hose it down again as it warms up.

Sure, but us LS1 guys can't change OptiSpark guts so it all evens up in the end...
