Anybody a fan of this weather:-x. It might as well be raining or snowing. You can't do ANYTHING outside. I took a look at News 12 around 11:00 this morning and the traffic on the Edison/Driscoll Bridge was almost at a standstill. What were those people going to do when they got down to the shore (about 2 hours later)? Find a place to park? Find a place on the beach? Try to cross the sand without burning off the bottom of your feet? I don't think so!

I was outside all day yesterday for the 4th festivities. I'll probably end up out on the river today to try and relax. But it's tough to try and do too much outside. The real problem is we all get too addicted to the AC and once you sit inside for too long, it makes it feel even hotter outside. If you get outside early in the day it won't be as bad getting adjusted to the hot temps.

I was outside for a good chunk of the day again. Worked on the truck a little, cleaned up around the back yard, then went out on the river and scrubbed the boat down before kicking back in a tube. It was hot, but not humid so it wasn't too bad. The next couple of days are gonna get worse when the humidity kicks in.

I went out after work and walked 18 holes of golf. It was hot, but I've played when it was much worse than this. The lake on the course is down 2 feet since last week and neither stream that feeds it has any water flowing at all! We are in big trouble if we don't get some moisture real soon.

For ANYBODY who hates THIS weather, just read some of the replys from last years WONDERFUL SUMMER. This same crap will be here soon enough, so enjoy NOT sweating just as you leave your house.
By the way, that lovely green dust is just around the corner (POLLEN). Get ready to sneeze your brains off and forget about keeping your car clean!

Listen you can SUCK IT, I have to walk around in a GENERATING station during the summer some times. 100 degree heat + steam = lot higher than ambient temperature!

i think i have it rougher than you guys.
i sit outside all day, sometimes in the sun if i want to be less pale.
sometimes my drinks get a little too warm, a little less than chilled. I have to watch people all day (i can get inside the pool if i need to be closer to accident prone individuals)
if theres no one there i'm stuck reading, or on my comp, or on my phone. Ocassionally i walk around the pool, skimming, vacuuming.
