Clear bra...
Clear bra...
dupli-color clear temporary spray on bra to be exact lol
Dupli-color Shield.
http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/300/318/318-shield.jpg
For when i drive the 5 hours from NY to NJ, or back, the bugs are horrible and really beat up the front bumper.
With this spray on protection, it takes the brunt of the abuse and then just easily washes off.
I spray it on before the trip and remove it once i get to my destination.

1. Why is there a bunch of stuff on that Vette?
2. The V looks really really good.
3. You never told me on the feel of it. Top gear said it felt cheap does it?

1. The vette is/was an old project which is slowly getting parted out
2. Thank you, I just need to do clears up front.
3. It is still the 1st gen CTS, which isn't a "high-end" car but definitely feels good and a blast to drive. Better than my old 95 STS.

Also if you look closely... you can see the mess of bugs plastered on the front of the car, prior to now using the duplicolor product...

Wow, that's pretty awesome, I didn't even know there was such a product! Great idea!

yes.. in a sense... considering my work is 26 miles from the Canadian border. I only come back to NJ maybe twice a month if that. Other than that i live in upstate NY. When i make the 325mile trip back to NJ(or back up to NY) i use this stuff.

Seems like the perfect stuff for your situation. I have never even seen it before

It looks like a run down POS with the flat stuff. you should just get real clear bra on it.
if my front bumper was perfect, or even close, i would, but not for the $185 price tag, not now.
personally i dont care how it looks during that drive, as long as it does its job

i dont think i paid nearly that much for my clear bra... found the receipt... it was $131 shipped for the front bumper kit, i didnt get the hood or headlight pieces tho, so maybe for a bigger car itd cost more
