Picked up a 1975 Corvette Stingray, L-48 350 and a 4 Speed. Car drives pretty good, hopefully just in need of a tune up and basic maintenance.
I'll put more photos up when I get home.
Was wondering if anyone new any good websites for looking model year information for Corvettes. I've been searching around but really haven't find anything like camaroresource.ca or like what we have here.
Again thanks.

i agree with steve, the later rear bumper with the spoiler looks WAY better then the original

Yup, i dont think i would have picked it up if it had the rounded bumper, ive always been a bigger fan of the 68-73, but this was the right price and looked great. Its the flat glass and the spoiler just makes it look a million times better.

Nice! Looks pretty clean overall.
Early C3s are my fav. vettes, but I would take anything up to 77. Can't stand the 78-82 fastback cars.
What are your plans for it?

Immediate plans are a tune up this weekend to get her running smooth again, then an e-brake rebuild. Over the winter I would like to swap in a GMPP 350/290 motor and update the front and rear suspension. Eventually one day I would love to tear her down to frame and rebuild her, but thats a long time away.

Very nice! C3s are my fav generation, a very timeless design. My dad had a '74 that he absolutely loved but had to sell when my parents bought their first house in 1979. But about 7 years ago he picked up a '78 Silver Anniversary edition.

So what's the going rate on a mid-gen c3 that looks it's age, $5000?
I dig the AR Vectors. Very vintage!

Abouts that yeah, i really should have took someone with me that new more about carb cars. I posted up on corvette forums and they are telling me all kinds of things that are wrong with the motor.

corvetteforum seems to be a pretty good place, lots of traffic and lots of knowledgable people. I've always liked the C3 since my dad had 2 of them, but I don't see myself ever owning one. Good luck with it they are fun cars, even with the L-48

Three things to remember NOT to say or do to to not look like a Vette Douche.
1. never say "thats not Corvette original."
2. Never dart under the nearest bridge or over pass/ somethign with a roof if it starts raining, and waitthere till it stops and dries up a little ( unless your T-tops are off, than you can to put them on)
3. Don't join a corvette club and go to a strictly corvette only show, thats just pure ass-hattery. Were all car lovers, no need to single out certain cars.
