Anyone here have an opinion on the BFG DR2? I'm looking for an "on the car 100% of the time" tire, but on a car that sees limited use. It's a 3rd car and will likely not see rain, but in case it does I don't want to be on a bald DR. The DR2 looks like it has an actual tread pattern that might help on the road. I'm assuming it'll have enough bite for a 350ish rwhp car to cut decent 60 foot times?
Anyone care to comment good or bad on the DR2s?

The nitto 555r drag radials I had were pretty good in the rain and they are pretty cheap. Not a lot of people run the BFG's because they are hard to find from what I understand. I'd go with the nittos personally.

Not a fan of the BFG's. I know a few ppl running the Nittos rain or shine. I personally run the Mickey Thompson ET Streets on my third gen. My car seldom see's the rain, but the hand full of times it has, I have had no traction issues.
IMO if you are looking for a good dry weather tire that you can occasionally take to the track buy the Nittos. If you want a great drag radial that you occasionally use on the street get the ET Streets.

Another +1 on the ET streets.
From your other thread it sounds like you are an older guy, so they can def be used in the rain. I daily drive mine with em out back and have had no major issues with em. Just gotta pay attention to what your doing.
Mine are going on two summers now, and still a lot of meat left on em.

+1 for ET streets
there are street tires with a softer compound than Nittos
