Yup who here is a 'gym rat' or just enjoys working out in general? What are your routines? Supps?

Anyone do
P90x?
Insanity?
Cross fit?
Etc etc...

I've been doing relatively the same workouts/routines for the past year n half... I switch it up a little but I'm looking for some real diversity.

im pretty scrawny but after doing p90x for almost 3 months i saw a major improvment.. i only stopped doing it to build my car and plan to start back up again sometime soon. If you stick with that program you will see results. Its nothing new its just an outline to follow and do exercises, but it deff works if your not lazy because its rough but if you workout already you should have no prob with that.

yeah the P90X **** is intense do it for three months a 110% you'll be ripped. but if your just trying to build muscle overall thats the way to go but if your trying to become something specific like a runner for example you cant become hulk hogan or anything but im sure you know what you wanna do

he only injects the roids into his arms and chest.. duhhhh.... the p90 has a few different layouts for bigger people, or leaner people or advanced people... it has a few different layouts and eating plans too if your looking to loose weight... and you do it at your own pace.. youll never be able to keep up with them unless your as fit as they are so you do as many as you can

you got some weird weights to get those numbers,

i like protein, creatine, lots of water, 4k+calories/day

I was doing mostly weight lifting from about '06 until '09, until I realized I'm too skinny to ever get real bulk on me. So now I do mostly bike riding, pushups, sprints, stuff like that. I like the sound of the P90x thing, I think that would suit me well

I was on creatine for a while and it really helped with recoveries, but it made me hungry all the time and I definitly gained fat so i stopped with that

its all about discipline. i have a lot of self control when it comes to food so im able to keep my body fat low while using the benefits of creatine. lots of cardio helps too :)

I have both P90x and insanity and have STARTED both. Never been able to see them all the way through... things always come up and I get off track. However I do lift 6 days a week 1 day off. Taking USPlabs stack and Lipo6, whey protein after workout and casein before bed.
I've never maxed out, never been interested and I broke my wrist when I was a kid so barbell benching is painful. I stick to dumb bells mostly.
And I do some type of cardio 3 days a week. I wanna start playing racquetball again!

Asteroid along with pink magic

Also 3 scoops jack3d pre. I found out its the only pre that works for me. No xplode just sucks, super pump makes me ***** and doesn't do much, jack3d works wonders...

i really need to get back into the game. i used to run in high school and ever since i struggled at keeping a steady routine. i do swim laps now and then at work.

i also thought about joining this mma gym, they have cardio and everything. though $100 a month + car payments...

I also take their other product, RPM
I was taking their Osteo sport for joint health. freakin awesome but im all out so im gonna try this stuff called Super Cissius
i have protein, but have been slacking with my intake of it lol

Kinda off topic but not really...is it better to run then lift, or lift then run?

From everything that I've read it is better to lift then run but no longer then 30 minutes.

Interesting. I might have to give this a shot.

And Matt, that's kinda late. My gym opens at 430 am and closes at 930. I haven't gone before 830am, but between 830-10, 1-3, and 730-930 are all great times to go at my gym - it's like 3 other guys, a few females on treadmills, and me. It's great, since I use 3 machines at once. I would try different times to figure out what's best at your gym.

Yeah, there were some studies done on the topic and they all found that cardio in the AM on a relatively empty stomach and then weightlifting in the PM (after you have enough time to store fuel) works best. Tough to work out twice a day like this though.

Yeah I was thinking how hard it'll be with work and how I leave at 7am but then I remembered I only have one more week of my internship, then school starts and I have lots of time on my hands until I graduate in May
