Looks like there is a V8 in its future - making around 420ish hp.
I took a 4 cyl auto for a spin. Very nice ride - more room than expected (front seats) - I didn't even bother with the rear seats. 4 cyl was kinda slow.... but the aftermarket has exploded for it

yeah nothing wrong with a little rwd boosted 4 banger for a daily, it'll get good gas milage if your not beating on it

Its a cool car. V8 is not gunna come till next generation. The 5.0 will show up in the Genny sedan and the new flagship Equus.

i would probably get the v6 edition, unless the turbo aftermarket steps up in a big way

my buddy has the 4cyc turbo. he has a couple things done and it runs good now pushing 20-22psi. hits 103-105mph in the 1/4. fun car now. he drove the stick and it was junk. you can not power shift the car will lock out the gear if the gas is touched. auto 4cyc is the way to go.

I do love the looks of them myself. I feel they are in the area competing with the former 350Z ( now 370Z) but you get an engine option which makes it more affordable. I'm telling you guys, invest in Hyundai they are going to take a top spot in the coming years....they just need to figure out that burning clutches out problem.

Hyundai is doing very well, but Kia has more potential. Kia is more broad market. Hyundai is gunna start to move up market. I dont think they will sell the kind of cars to get the big volume.

thats what everyone is saying, even hyundai has said they have their eyes on the bmw/lexus market
edit: what do the turbo 4's run stock?... cuz i know the v6's are good for low 14's/high 90's.. so ill be able to get it to hit 13.xx/100.xx bone stock with ease

They can try if they want, but I doubt they'll make a huge dent. A lot of purchasing in that market is due to branding, not necessarily the quality of automobile.

Absolutely, it's all about status. IMO, the LaCrosse is as nice as a Lexus ES but it's a yucky Buick(imitating what what a snobby Lexus owner would say). The G8 was a well built car but it's a garbage Pontiac. A majority of consumers that would be looking at a BMW/MB/Lexus wouldn't consider a GM product nor a Hyundai. It's a shame too but people want the name.

The turbo 4 is th same group turbo engine found in the Evo. Lots of potential for the engine...lots.

i drove one of them, they are fun but at the time i know they were way too much money and dealerships were holding on to them, now that they have been out for a bit im sure its much different.
