I'm building a new engine for my Z28 so I'm selling the SBC engine that is in my car right now.

This engine came with my car. It was a greasy, oily mess but otherwise ran well. So I pulled it out and cleaned it up, new gaskets, etc, about 8000 miles/4 years ago. I did not take the internals apart. Where it says new means new as of when I cleaned it up. Where it says assumed it means just that, I am making partially educated guesses! There is no guarantee on the engine or the 'assumed' parts in it.

**it does not smoke or use much if any oil at all from what I’ve seen
**it never runs hot
**the car runs well
**The bonus is you can come hear it run & go for a ride before I pull it out. A deposit holds it. It should be removed by the end of November.

$700 includes the long block assembly:

Block: Gen I/2 pc main seal 350 4-bolt main. Assume it has been machined, likely the common .030 over but I have no idea. It is also a desirable "010" high nickel content block. No VIN on block.
Casting Number 3970010
3970010....350...69-80...2 or 4 (from mortec, this one is a 4 bolt main)

I believe the J 16 6 date code = Oct 16 1976 or 1986?

Heads: 333882 cast iron
333882.....74-80...350/400......76cc chambers (from mortec)
Under the valve covers, nice & clean:

I think it depends on the lower intake which I think could be changed easily. You'll have to research it
