Just found this group while following some links to car shows. Figured my car is still a '95 Camaro so I might as well join.

I re-bodied my '95 Z28 Convertible to look like a stylized '57 Belair.... it gets a lot of attention at cruise nights and shows and backs up its looks by showing its tail lights to those beside us at a light.

Planning to attend a few more shows this year including the F-Body nats.

Other shows:
10/3/2010 - Woodborne Park, Wantage, NJ 12 - 4?
10/10/2010 - Montague Municipal Building 277 Clove Road, Montague, NJ 07827

No quarter miles with this car yet... not sure if I want to bother, there are so many Firebirds / Camaros better prepped for the 1/4 mile. I haven't done much of anything to the driveline or engine.

Of course my first f-body was a different story -- after I blew the powerglide out of my '68 firebird 350 I picked up a Pontiac station wagon with a TH400 and 455... a couple little power improvements got the front of the car to just come off the ground at traffic lights. I miss that car but not as much as I miss my '68 Ram Air 400 Convertible.

:welcome:Welcome to the club. Nice ride.

I know a few of us that will be back to Good Guys next year. We'll all have to meet up and try to ride in together.

I'll be there... and at the Good Guys show in Rhinebeck, NY in the Spring and a bunch of other smaller ones thought the Spring / Summer.

This Sunday 10/3/2010 there is a show in Wantage, NJ at the park at 145 Sherman Ridge Road from 12 to 4.

On 10/10/2010 is a show in Montague, NJ at town hall, 277 Clove Road. Reg starts at 9:30AM, judging starts at noon, trophies at 3PM. Couple of bands, food, etc.

If anyone comes t shouldn't be too hard to find me... the car doesn't blend in.

Charlie.

I think I saw you at the Rhineback show. I was with my father. We asked about the car and I asked about the engine. Its a long shot that youll remember me but it had to be you. We asked you if you go to the show in Port Jervis on tuesdays. Ive seen you there I believe.

1994LT1, I think I do remember talking to you at Rhinebeck... you won't recognize the car... I spent most of the summer getting it finished up.

I keep missing most of the Port Jeris cruise nights, they often fall on the same night as the Montague Township committee meetings... they would miss me and the Mayor if we went to the cruise night instead.

I saw the announcement about the show in Matamoras, PA this Sunday but I already committed to being at the show in Wantage, NJ. I may do a run by Matamoras on the way home to see if anything is still going on though.
