Just got back form the show and OH MY GOD was it awesome! Best concert I've ever been to! He's going to be in the NYC/Philly area this coming week. The video and CGI stuff was unbelievable. I highly recommend checking it out! This is his final tour and he'll be retiring after the tour, so this is your last chance to see him!

$500? Were you trying to buy them off StubHub or something? Tickets to the shows start at like $50.

After Dark Side, Roger Waters was Pink Floyd. He wrote almost everything, including Animals and The Wall. He was the writer as well as artistic vision. Not to mention bass player as well.

A lot of people don't know that Pink Floyd after Waters left became a marketing tool by the record company to make money. All of the albums they did without Waters had ghost writers writing the songs and ghost musicians playing on the albums, but crediting Gilmore, Wright, and Mason for it. It was all about cashing in on the name.

I've never been to a concert, wouldn't mind bucking up to go to this but eh, that digs into the GTA budget. :D

Dont go see anyone with a huge name for your first show then.

For instance Metallica. I totally hyped that show up in my head "Holy **** I'm finally going to see Metallica!" And it didnt live up to it. I mean to was good but concerts arent the free for all, play til when ever we want, sea of fans going nuts think they were in the 80s and 90s. Or I should say they arent anywhere in the tristate area.

Eh, I'll probably never go to a concert anyway. Too many people, I hate being around large groups...I barely even go to sporting events anymore.

The best concerts to catch are when middle famed bands randomly play smaller venues. Like I saw The Offspring at Starland, and was suppose to go see Distrubed at HoB (Not that I would call them middle famed).
