Just seeing if there is anyone who can come take a look at a Bare LS1 block with me tomorrow? The guy said it had a rod knock. Not really that good at telling what is good and what is not good about blocks.. The guy wants 250.00 for the block and a stock crank with it.. The motor is located in Mt Ephram NJ off the Blackhorse pike by the new Sonic.

take this as u will, most used ls engines have high mileage and are worn out.. what i usually advise friends and customers is to just buy a short block from someone like jim pace performance or one of the sponsors if they can get them... then top it off with ur choice of heads cam etc and be done with it... just my opinion..
