Today was our annual dock day along the Delaware River where we get a tow truck and owners come out to help winch each dock up the river bank. The winch does most of the work but quite a few properties have a nice combination of trees and rocks that we have to help the docks over or around. I think it takes a week for my back to recover from lifting the docks and usually the steps that get pulled up as well! I think we pulled up 14 docks today. You can see how steep the river bank is at my cousin's house where I keep my boat. I think it's about 75-80 steps up is where we pull the docks in case the river comes up over the winter and if there is any ice.
