Meh, he was trying to be ballsy. I guess too ballsy, since it popped out!

And it's kind of a stupid rule when the idea is to protect the quarterback when he goes to the ground, but in that situation he's not down! He's never been able to slide feet first. But then on the flip side, Vick doesn't know how to do it either. He just runs until he gets popped. What a lousy game to watch. Lame penalty calls, tons of non calls including Jackson holding the defender on the first Eagles touchdown, Vick would not have scored if Jackson didn't hold the guy. A nice chop block on McCoy's run near the end of the game. I counted 6 helmet to helmet hits going both ways and only 1 was called. It's getting hard to watch the NFL any more. It's almost as ugly as the NBA.

Didnt Eli do the same thing in a game last year against the Eagles?
Its kind of nerve wrecking watching Vick take those hits. He is not a big QB like Mcnabb is and I am just worried that he is going to sign some 7 yr deal with the Eagles then get knocked out from a hit right after he signs.
Vick also needs to work on throwing the ball while running to the right side.
