As some of you may know i spun a rod bearing about 3 weeks ago at the track.
ive been battling back and forth on whether or not i should stay 346 and stay cam only and then h/c/i stock bottom end.
well after thinking about it and not wanting to have the risk of spinning another bearing and pulling a motor again. I decided to go w/ a ls2 and punch it out to a 402ci
itll be on a budget so im going to swap everything over from the old to the new motor plus add my TFS 215cc heads that have been sitting in the garage since last year.
eventually ill get TFS 235cc,fast 102/102 and AR 1 7/8 headers
what do you think?

You should have one stout motor there.

Thats one of the reasons I went with a LQ9 instead. Plus the LQ9 short block was a little less expensive then just a LS2 block. Good luck with the build

Sounds like an awesome build! Not too knowledgeable on the LS engines. Is the LQ9 the iron block 6.0 liter?

yeah i shoulda, but looking back now, im glad i went this route, cause i almost dont see the point of putting the money into doing a forged 347 when for just a lil more you can do the ls2 and go 400+ci
what do you plan on doing now?
