If you aren't dieing for HIDs and just want better light, look at the many H4 swaps that are available. IPF, Rampage, Hella, Cibie, and others all make good replacement housings that you can just drop a replaceable H4 bulb into. I am going that route with my Jeep next.
Most of those housings will come with a cheap set of H4 bulbs, but you can get better ones relatively inexpensively. Check out www.danielsternlighting.com

I got HO sealed beams through AcDelco. Major improvement over stock without having to modify anything.
If your interested I'll get a part number on Monday.

Yea, any quality sealed beam is going to be a step up from whatever old stock lights are in it.
Also, for clarification, the H4 setup doesn't require any modifications. The housing attaches just like your stock sealed beam, and H4 bulbs have the same plug as a 6054 sealed beam.
You might wanna take a multimeter to your stock lights now and see how much voltage they are seeing when the engine is running. Often dim lights are at least partially the product of sub-par factory wiring. You can buy universal relay harnesses that pull power for the lights straight from the battery and use the stock headlight power lines as triggers for a relay.

I am not very familiar with lighting and HID's thats why I asked first, so thanks for the heads up.
I will look into the H4 swap and check out the voltage too. My fog lights are brighter than my headlights right now!
