no codes or lock outs of any sort.

functioned just fine when removed. ready for plug and play.

you know if the camaro and trans am plugs are the same? looking for a cheap plug and play for my 98z.

That shouldn't be a problem at all. I used the stock unit from my buddy's 98 z28 in my 99 t/a with no problems.
