Hi all! I haven't been on the forums in a while and have finally decided to get back to working on my car. I'm looking for a shop around Union County that can do a simple port and possibly valve job on my 241's. I'm not looking to build the next big dyno queen, but would like a nice set of heads of my engine when I cam it, and at a budget price. I've used several different shops locally, but it seems like most of them have gone out of business lately. If there is a recommended shop out of state, and their pricing isn't bad, I'll take those into consideration as well. Thanks everyone.

Thanks. I was actually just reading that after posting this. How did yours work out? I haven't read the whole thread. The most I would want is probably the 1.5's, and can assemble the heads as well.

My TEA heads came out much better than expected, but they werent cheap, haha. I went with their stage 2 ls6, and did the assembly myself to cut down on cost.

From my build thread...

I work at a shop in Garwood, which is literally right down the street from Cartek. Their prices don't seem too bad for what I want, but I haven't heard too many good things about them. And those things came from guys who worked there. Has anyone here had any machine work done by them?

Have you considered just picking up a set of stock 243/799 castings instead of getting mild work done to your 241's?

Just so happens I have an extra set of 241s laying around. I'm not looking for wild flow numbers either.

Any contact info on them? I googled an only turned up articles about them, no contacts or website.
