ive heard of bubbles in tires but an indent? i was cleaning my wheels today and saw it. ive hit some serious potholes the roads are crazy...but ive never seen an actual indent. that means the tire is no good? thanks for the help.

as long as it snot a bubble/egg in the sidewall poking outward you should be fine... im not sure what causes those but iv seen them a million times and never were cause for concern

Nah, I believe that is where the tire was held from while it was being made. Its probably around the width of your finger right? Very subtle indent too?

yeah for the most part...it doesnt affect the ride quality or anything. just want to make sure it doesnt blow out at the wrong time or something.

most likely thats an overlapping of the layers inside that make up the tires. its called an undulated sidewall and contrary to popular belief that its dangerous its actually quite the opposite. since its where two layers are overlapping its actually one of the strongest areas of a tire. ive had plenty of customers complain about them, theyre just ugly. if you want to get rid of it have a tech flip the tire on the rim...if its an assymetrical tire then you just gotta deal with it.

ive seen cars with low profile tires with huge flats spots because the were sitting to long. that affects ride quality haha
